Students are expected to match each hour of face-to-face learning with independent work (a minimum of 5 hours each week).  

For example; spending time undertaking homework assignments, preparatory work (reading and planning ahead of the lesson), reading around the subject. 

Students should spend time each week, reflecting and reviewing their work and identifying (and working on) areas of weakness.
