Course Details
This national extended certificate offers a specialist qualification that focuses on key knowledge and practical skills required to progress to higher education and employment within the sports sector.
Modules Studied
Students will study four components that are both internally and externally assessed, these are:
- Unit 1- Anatomy & Physiology
- Unit 2 - Fitness Training & Programming for Heath, Sport & Well-being
- Unit 3 - Professional Development in the Sports Industry
- Unit 4 - Sports Leadership
The course is equivalent to 1 A-Level at grade A* (distinction*), A (distinction), C (Merit) or E (Pass).
